Are you feeling like life is overwhelming you? Are you struggling with self-confidence or relationships? Do you wish someone would listen without trying to fix you? Then I am here to welcome you.
I’m a counsellor for adults covering Ascot, Bracknell and surrounding areas, and I also work online. My approach is grounded in the person-centred philosophy: you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—not to judge or direct, but to truly hear you.
My own journey has shaped my passion for this work. Living abroad for nearly two decades gave me an intimate understanding of what it’s like to feel ‘other’, whether in subtle or obvious ways. And earlier in my career during my years as a teacher, I often saw individuals who needed one-to-one attention that I couldn’t give—an experience that deepened my commitment to creating the time and space people truly need.
Alongside my work as a counsellor, I also teach individual and small groups of secondary students who have struggled in mainstream for a variety of reasons whether through having autism, ADHD or other unmet needs.
I welcome all clients irrespective of race, religion, gender or sexuality.

My passion in life is to make people feel truly 'seen' - this means meeting you with empathy where you are and allowing you to share what is going on in your life without judgement.
I am here to allow you to fully explore your problems in an empathic, non-judgemental space. You can explore your challenges with a skilled listener who is unconnected to your daily life, providing a fresh perspective and empowering you to make your own changes.
I offer an initial, free exploratory call so that we can find out if we are a good fit – and then afterwards if you decide to go ahead, we can make an appointment to see each other online or in my rooms in the centre of Ascot. There is never any pressure to go ahead after the call unless you feel it would be helpful – if you decide not to, there will be someone else out there who is right for you.
Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression. Many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of or even articulate, and this is where I come in. Either face to face from my counselling rooms in Ascot, or online, together we can gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems – and through building a relationship of mutual respect, empathy and trust, move towards managing and resolving them.
I'm a registered member of the British Association for counselling and psychotherapy and operate within the ethical framework for counselling professions. Fully insured and regular supervision to ensure I'm practising ethically. I undertake regular continued professional development to update my skills.

I work from a private, comfortable setting in the centre of Ascot, easily accessible from Sunningdale, Bracknell, and the surrounding areas. Once we arrange your first session, I will provide full address details and directions.
Alongside face-to-face counselling, I also offer online sessions, so you can work with me from the comfort of your own home, whether you are local or based further afield. This flexibility means you can choose the approach that feels right for you.
Sessions last 50 minutes, and cost £60 and there are a limited number of spaces for low income clients or students. Please email to enquire. I offer an initial free phonecall in order to see if we are a good fit. I accept, cash or a bank transfer. Any questions don't hesitate to get in touch. If you need to cancel a session please give 24 hours notice.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how therapy works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to therapy, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
